Siamese twins

NGC 4567 & NGC 4568

The Siamese Twins, also known as the Butterfly Galaxies, are a pair of colliding unbarred spiral galaxies located in Virgo constellation. The galaxies lie at a distance of 59.4 million light years and are members of the Virgo Cluster. Imaged using 8inch RC telescope @ F/8 unguided using MyT mount and Protrack. Exposure times 150x 240 seconds for Lum RGB 30 x 240 seconds each channel. Last date imaged was March 31 and I started a new project a few days later a supernova was found in NGC 4568 which is the larger of the two galaxies.
