Cygnus Wall Region of North American Nebula

Area known as the Cygnus wall, part of the North America Nebula. This area is the most active region for star formation within this nebula. Imaged here in the popular hubble palette SHO. SHO is Ionized sulfur mapped to the red channel, Ionized hydrogen mapped to green channel and Ionized Oxygen mapped to blue channel. Hydrogen is the most abundant gas by far in most nebula and if not for some processing the image would be entirely green.

All prints on Kodak Endura metallic paper at 300 DPI

The coffee mug has a full image wrapped around an 11 ounce white coffee mug. It is a perfect stocking stuffer, Father’s Day, or Birthday gift.
