NGC 90 is an interacting spiral galaxy estimated to be about 300 million light-years away in the constellation of Andromeda. Lots of small faint galaxies in the background. Background considering subject is 300 million light years distant.. Fairly happy with result some details in the spiral arms. Imaged using RC8 telescope unguided at f/8 QSI 683 camera MyT mount
An area in Cygnus near NGC 6910. Dark nebula colorful stars and lots of hydrogen gas in my opinion makes one hell of a view. Imaged using RC 8@ f/8 unguided, QSI 683 camera, MyT mount
NGC 1333 a reflection nebula in Perseus surrounded by the Perseus molecular cloud. Image contains dark nebula as well as 5 Herbig-Haro objects. Herbig–Haro (HH) objects are bright patches of nebulosity associated with newborn stars. They are formed when narrow jets of partially ionised gas ejected by stars collide with nearby clouds of gas and dust at several hundred kilometres per second. Imaged using 8 inch RC telescope unguided @ f/8 (1600mm), QSI 683 mono CCD, MyT mount. Total exposure time is 20 hours.
A bipolar planetary nebula in the constellation Perseus. Imaged using 8 inch RC telescope unguided @ f/8 1600 mm, QSI 683 mono camera, MyT mount. Total exposure time is 15 hours.
Interacting galaxies NGC 7771 and NGC 7770 along with “nearby” galaxy NGC 7769 make up the group along with many back round galaxies . Located 200 million light years distant in constellation Pegasus. Image taken using RC8 telescope unguided @ f/8 or 1600 mm, QSI683 mono camera, MyT mount. Exposure time is a total of 6.5 hours.
NGC 6910 an open cluster located in constellation Cygnus.
Imaged using RC8 telescope unguided @ f/8 1600 mm, QSI683 camera, MyT mount
WR 134 variable Wolf-Rayet star located in Cygnus constellation approx 6000 light years distant from earth. Imaged using 8 inch RC telescope @ f/8 or 1600 mm unguided using MyT mount. Exposure times are 30 x 900 sec Hydrogen alpha(red), 30 x 900sec Oxygen 3(blue) Luminance 70x 240 sec RGB 25 x 240 sec each channel. The oxygen channel(blue) does show a complete circular shell though at 7 hours of time the signal is still very weak on much of the sphere.
ARP 227, two interacting galaxies at a distance of 93 million light years from earth. Located in constellation Pisces. Imaged using 8 inch RC telescope unguided at f/8 (1600 mm) exposure times were 87×480 seconds for LUM channel, RGB channels were 25 x 240 seconds.
One of the most studied compact group of galaxies, located in Pegasus constellation. Distant from earth is 290 million light years. Taken with 8 inch RC telescope @f/8 (1600 mm focal length) unguided using MyT mount. Exposure times Lum 76 x 240 seconds, RGB 20 x 240 each channel.
